Alain Gbeasor

Alain Gbeasor is passionate entrepreneur, co- founder of the Acclaimed Africa Mobile & ICT Expo (#MOBEX) and chairman of the Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Ghana, an incubator, capacity builder and advocacy expert with successful record of driving business operations to profitability, creating teams and launching new ventures.

A Biochemist with specialization in Industrial Chemistry with 10 years of manufacturing, formulation and production experience as well as experienced Marketer.

He has worked in industry for close to 15 years with great experience in several C-level capacities as Chairman, Managing Director, Operations, Director of Supply Chain, Planning Manager, Strategic Planning and Master Scheduler.

With 10 years of startup consulting history up his sleeve winning several call ups and nominations as startup coach and mentor;

Alain co-founded the Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs and more recently the Katapult Turbo Project, a tech-startup commercializer in partnership with Global Telecommunication Giants MTN.

Alain is a natural leader, team player and multilingual; Alain is fluent in French and English with a gifted ear for many other local dialects. He is a strong optimist and believes in the Human can do spirit and resilience.

He is the founder GS Group, a fully Ghanaian owned and diversified company with interests in Chemical engineering, Detergent Manufacturing and Commodity markets.

Gbeasor’ leadership, insight and operational expertise have strengthened the group’s culture of innovation, expanded the company into new markets, and extended its product portfolio and global reach. In 2009, Alain led the creation of GS Specialty chemicals in answer a market demand for made in Ghana and effective cleaning chemicals and detergents thus expanding the company’s ability to help Ghanaian hospitality specialists optimize and gain value for money.
His experience in branding, advertising and communication an asset he wields graciously, he acquired from his multiple roles in Advertising from copy writer, journalist to publications director following the successful launch, implementation and sustenance of the Enjoy Accra Magazine, the leading free independent monthly magazine, at the time, a first of its kind in the country and published by the Orin Advertising Company Limited.

In his drive to enhance his influence in the Technology field, Alain is a director in a few other companies such as Coasters Co Ltd, a technology events company organizers of the Africa Mobile Expo (MOBEX AFRICA) and Ace Technologies, in which he brings to bear his experience and his hunger for knowledge. The team recently launched the VALGO Payment Platform which is helping Rural Banks and Savings and Loan organizations by providing them with digital payments cards and enabling a more enhanced financial inclusion model

GBEASOR is an Associate fellow of the Boardroom Institute, a global think tank nurturing a new breed of African Leaders and is a frequent speaker at industry, social and academic events.

Alain has featured and led several entrepreneurship capacity building workshops for young entrepreneurs with his new advocacy on empowering SCIENCE BUSINESS.

Alain is a judge on the MTN –Apps Challenge, an on-screen nationwide Technovation challenge to help start-ups fine tune their businesses and ideas by MTN.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs as well as Chairman of the Millennium Investment Group, a fund management company formed by him and his mates of PRESEC.

GBEASOR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, as well as two separate post graduate degrees in Marketing and Selling as well as Company Direction. GBEASOR has recently been awarded as an African Servant Leadership Fellow of the African Good Governance Initiative, an award reserved for public and private sector movers who are making a point for Good Governance in Africa.

He was a member of the 3O influential young Ghanaians under 40 in 2016 as well the prestigious 40 under 40 young Entrepreneurs.
